If you’ve spent any time on this site, you may have noticed it doesn’t fit neatly into a single category. That’s deliberate.
What you’re looking at is the early stage of a multi-property publishing and information ecosystem. Several distinct sites and projects, each serving a different audience and purpose, all connected by the same underlying philosophy: honest evaluation, practical learning, and building things that last.
Here’s what exists so far.
Unretired Doug is this site. The hub. Online business, digital tools, self-publishing, and the broader question of what’s actually possible after a traditional career ends. If you’re new here, the [System Philosophy] page is a good place to start.
Health Insights HQ is a health and wellness information property following the same content philosophy as this site. Straightforward, research-informed articles on topics that matter to people in the second half of life. No miracle cures, no clickbait. [healthinsightshq.com]
A marketing and publishing property is currently in development. When it launches, it will be the primary home for courses, tools, and resources related to online business and ethical marketing. I’ll link it here when it’s ready for visitors.
Additional projects are in various stages of development, covering areas including thinking tools, self-publishing, contemplative frameworks, and fiction. I’ll add them here as they reach a stage worth pointing people toward.
